Run by Akbank Sanat (Akbank Short Film Festival)
Writers with a finished short-film script in Turkish can enter this contest run inside the Akbank Short Film Festival. A first jury narrows the field to eight scripts of up to 30 pages, the writers pitch them to industry jurors during the festival in March 2027, and one project receives the Forum's best screenplay support.

The festival runs Mar 16 to 24, 2027 in Istanbul.
Deadlines are as the organizer states them. Check the time zone on the official page.
Its site names no judges and no past winners. It is listed because it is free to enter.
Need your pages in standard screenplay format first? The free screenplay formatter lays them out and saves a PDF.
Eight finalists each get a 15-minute pitch with questions from the jury on March 20 and 21, 2027, and their synopses and writer bios are printed in the festival catalog. A film shot from the winning script may carry the Forum logo once the festival has seen and approved it.
