MacDowell Fellowship (Fall 2027 to Winter 2028 season)
MacDowell, the artists' colony in Peterborough, New Hampshire, takes screenwriters under its Film/Video discipline and charges nothing for a residency. The February round fills the September 2027 to February 2028 season; applicants send a complete script with a one-page summary, and stipends go to those in need.
