Writing the TV Pilot
Run by National Film and Television School (NFTS Scotland)
Over two weeks on Zoom, writers draft a full 50-minute pilot for an original drama series, writing a few minutes a day and rewriting overnight. Former Channel 4 drama head Peter Ansorge leads it, and the course ends with pitches to drama producers at All3Media companies.

Ten working days in a writers' room format that end with a complete 50-minute pilot. Actors read your opening ten minutes, and on the last day you pitch to drama chiefs from All3Media's production companies, among them Neal Street and Company Pictures. Those companies get first refusal on the projects they want.
