- Who can apply
- Emerging teams whose writer, director and producer are all making a first or second feature, with documented experience in their own role (a reference film is required). Stage 1 can be filed by a team of individuals or by an Austrian production company; stage 2 needs an Austrian production company. No international co-productions, and no other public money can be added.
- Prizes
- Stage 1 gives each of five projects EUR 40,000 for development. The two funders then choose which projects receive production funding in stage 2, within a total budget cap of EUR 1.2 million for fiction and EUR 280,000 for documentary.

What it gives besides money
A development curriculum of about seven months with workshops, information sessions and individual mentoring, including a writers' retreat (United Writers Workshop) run with Drehbuchforum Wien and coaching on green production.
