2026 Pitch Contest (Fall/Winter)
Run by Script Pipeline
Writers with an idea and no draft yet can enter here. Script Pipeline takes a logline and a synopsis, treatment or deck for a feature or series, picks one winner, and its executives then guide that writer through the script. The winner is announced February 1, 2027.

- Who can apply
- Original scripted ideas for a feature or a TV series, any genre, animation included; film and TV ideas compete against each other. Reality, documentary, short, vertical and microdrama ideas are out, and so are full scripts. Writers who have won or reached the finals of any Pipeline contest from 2025 on are barred.

- One winner receives USD 2,500 in cash.

- No script; a synopsis that can be one page, a full treatment or a pitch deck

- Logline and synopsis required (a deck must include a synopsis); 3 to 5 pages of any script are strongly preferred as a writing sample

What it gives besides money
The winner gets development help to write the screenplay or pilot, mentoring from Pipeline executives on this and later projects, circulation of the finished script to industry contacts, and invitations to Symposium events.
