Who can apply
Writers of any age or country with an interest in directing; no directing experience is needed. Scripts must be in English, and writing teams need every member's consent. Writers who earned over USD 50,000 from screenwriting in the past 12 months are excluded, as are staff and judges; a script optioned or sold during the contest drops out.
Prizes
Eight winners get a place on the nine-week directing course, with a guest from the industry each week and support from Shore staff. Semifinalists are invited to an online mixer with Shore staff and guests.
