Thessaloniki Pitching Forum 2027

Tied to the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, this forum selects up to 14 documentary features and docuseries, mostly from Southeastern Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean and North Africa. Teams get online coaching, a lab and a pitch in March 2027, with lodging covered. Several cash awards, the largest EUR 10,000, are handed out at the end.

- Documentary projects with a director and producer attached, at any stage, with a main or co-producing country among 35 listed in Southeastern Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean and North Africa; others may apply. Features over 60 minutes; docuseries and TV docs may be shorter. The director needs at least one short.

- Awards include a EUR 10,000 ARTE European Talents Development Award, a EUR 10,000 IEFTF development award, a EUR 5,000 Onassis award and a EUR 2,000 ERT award for Greek projects, and a EUR 1,000 EURODOC award with membership.
