Who can apply

The screenplay and dialogue writer applies personally, for a feature-length fiction film. One supported project per calendar year and one application per support type per board period. A project rejected twice for this support is not reconsidered, a writer funded twice before needs one of those scripts to have been filmed, and earlier recipients must have met their obligations.

Prizes

A state grant toward writing the screenplay of a feature fiction film. The pages give no amount and do not say whether it must be repaid.

Apply on the e-Devlet portal (turkiye.gov.tr) with a synopsis, a treatment, the writer's statement, a bio and filmography, a declaration on adaptation and on biographical subject matter (with the rights holders' permission when either applies), and a notarized signature specimen. Use of AI tools in any of the material must be declared.

Applications are decided by the Ministry's cinema support board, which meets January 19 to 21, 2027 for the first period and September 15 to 17, 2027 for the second.
