WIFV Narrative Script Development Fellowship 2027
Run by Women in Film & Video (WIFV)
Members of Women in Film & Video, the Washington, DC area membership group, can apply with a feature or a pilot to a small cohort that works toward production rather than another draft. Mentors include producers, a casting director and a literary agent. The fee is 50 dollars and applications close February 8, 2027.

What it gives besides money
A cohort of four to six writers meets its mentors three times a month and the group once a month, with master classes on pitching, casting, budgeting, distribution and financing. Each writer ends with either a shooting script, budget and plan to make the film or a project ready to take to producers.
